Quick answer
CarBikeRent.com has no Royal Enfield, Harley-Davidson or Ducati listing in Mumbai at present. The site's Mumbai bikes are everyday commuters. Rentrip, the source of those listings, has its own model pages for the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Himalayan and some Harleys, and on 4 November 2026 they named Mumbai-area locations, while the Ducati pages named none. A model page is not a confirmed bike, so enter your dates with the provider and confirm the exact machine, deposit and damage terms.
What the catalogue shows
- 6 listings from Rentrip.
- Cities: Mumbai.
- Vehicle types: Bike.
- Listed daily rates: median ₹500, lowest ₹349, from 6 listings.
- 0 listings of 6 state a deposit.

What this catalogue has, and why these bikes are missing
The Mumbai bike page lists commuter bikes such as the Hero Splendor Plus and Yamaha FZ16. No listing there is a Royal Enfield, a Harley or a Ducati, so if you came here for a Bullet on rent in Mumbai, the comparison table cannot help you yet.
The reason is narrow. The site's Mumbai data comes from the popular-model list on a source's public city page, and premium bikes are not on that list. They sit deeper in the source's site, and the site does not track rates for them. If you are flexible on the city, the Bangalore bike page lists a Harley-Davidson X440 and the Jaipur bike page lists Royal Enfields.
Where these bikes appear on the provider's site
Rentrip's Mumbai page names the Classic 350, Himalayan and Harley-Davidson in its fleet description. Its individual model pages were checked on 4 November 2026, and the table shows the locations they named that day. Rentrip describes its suppliers as dealers, and live availability only shows once you enter dates, so this is a place to start, not proof that a bike is free.
| Model page | Locations shown | What that tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Royal Enfield Classic 350 | Andheri West, Dombivli East, JVLR Andheri East | The widest spread of the group |
| Royal Enfield Bullet 350 | Goregaon West, Navi Mumbai | The page is titled Battalion Black; ask which version it is |
| Royal Enfield Himalayan | Bandra West, Charni Road | Ask which generation: 411 and 450 are very different bikes |
| Harley-Davidson Street 750 | Goregaon West | A single location, so check dates early |
| Harley-Davidson X440 | A.B. Road | Not a clear Mumbai area; ask for the address |
| Harley-Davidson Iron 883 | None shown | Treat as unavailable until the provider confirms |
| Ducati Monster 795 | None shown | Treat as unavailable until the provider confirms |
| Ducati Scrambler Urban Enduro | None shown | Treat as unavailable until the provider confirms |
Which of these bikes suits a Mumbai rental
Choose by what you plan to do, not by the badge. A big bike costs more to rent and to damage, and Mumbai offers few roads where you can use what you are paying for.
- Bullet 350 or Classic 350: right if the feel of the bike is the point. Royal Enfield lists the Bullet 350 at 195 kg, a lot to hold up at a wet signal, so try moving it around before you leave.
- Himalayan: built for rough roads and luggage, and most sensible for a trip out of the city, if your provider allows one.
- Harley: a single-day treat, or for a rider who already knows heavy bikes. Heat and low speed in traffic will not show it at its best.
- Ducati: if you cannot find a confirmed bike, do not pay an advance on a model page alone. Ask for the exact bike, its number and its location first.
A licence myth, and what providers can still ask for
You may read that a superbike needs a special endorsement. The Motor Vehicles Act has no such tier: section 10 lists 'motor cycle with gear' as one class, with no split by engine size. If your licence shows that class, it covers a Bullet in law, and a car or gearless licence does not. This is general information rather than legal advice.
A provider can still set its own conditions on top of the law. Expect some to ask about your age or your riding experience, or to want a larger deposit. Royal Brothers' FAQ, for instance, sets a higher starting deposit for superbikes than for ordinary bikes. Ask before you pay, because being turned away at the counter is a poor way to find out.
Extra checks before you rent a big bike
The cost of a mistake rises with the price of the bike. On top of the standard pickup checklist, go through these points.
- The exact bike: ask for the registration number, year and current odometer reading.
- Damage limit: ask for your maximum liability as a figure. A dropped bike can mean a new lever, mirror or tank panel at premium-brand prices.
- Insurance: is it comprehensive, and is there a part you pay in any claim?
- Parts delays: if the bike is off the road waiting for parts, do you pay for those days? Get this in writing.
- Existing marks: film the tank, exhaust, crash guards and levers at pickup. These parts cost a lot to replace, so record them closely.
- Fit: sit on it with both feet down, with your passenger if you have one. Do this before you sign.
- Lonavala or further: ask if out-of-city travel is allowed and whether the km limit changes.
A message to send before you pay anything
One written message settles most of this and gives you a record. Copy this, fill in the gaps and send it to the provider: 'I want the [model] from [date and time] to [date and time], collected at [area]. Please confirm the registration number and year, the full price with tax, the deposit and refund time, any km limit, the insurance type and the most I could pay for damage, and whether I may take it to [place].'
A firm with the bike in front of it can answer that in minutes. If the reply skips the registration number or the damage limit, ask again before you send any money.
Roads a big bike still cannot use
Engine size earns you nothing here. The traffic police order for the Sea Link and Coastal Road covers all types of two-wheelers, and the same goes for the other fast links on the list of roads closed to two-wheelers. A ride to Lonavala by the old highway is the classic outing, and it is a much better use of a Himalayan than Mumbai's suburbs.
If you cannot find the bike you wanted
Decide what you really need from it. If it is a stronger bike for a day out of town, the Yamaha FZ16 and other geared listings are the nearest thing the catalogue offers, though none is a true substitute. If it is the Royal Enfield experience itself, search for a Mumbai dealer through the provider's own site and keep to the checks above.
Whichever firm you use, the same rule applies. Do not send an advance to someone you found on social media without a named bike, a physical location and a written agreement. The guide to spotting rental scams lists the warning signs.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rent a Royal Enfield Bullet in Mumbai through this site?
Not at present, as the Mumbai catalogue has no Royal Enfield. Rentrip's own Bullet 350 page showed Goregaon West and Navi Mumbai on 4 November 2026. This site does not track that page, so confirm with the provider directly.
What does a Himalayan on rent in Mumbai cost?
This site has no tracked Mumbai rate for it, and it does not repeat figures it cannot keep current. Enter your dates on the provider's page for the actual total. Compare the deposit and damage terms along with the rate, since they can differ more than the rent.
Is a Harley available on rent in Mumbai?
The catalogue here has none in Mumbai. Rentrip's Mumbai pages showed a location for the Street 750, an unclear one for the X440, and none for the Iron 883 when checked. Treat these as enquiries, not bookings.
Can I rent a Ducati in Mumbai?
No Ducati page checked showed a location on 4 November 2026, and the catalogue has none. It may still be possible through a specialist firm, but no specific option could be confirmed. Do not pay until you have seen the exact bike and its papers.
Do I need a special licence for a 650cc bike?
No separate class exists in the Act, because 'motor cycle with gear' has no engine limit. A provider can still ask for riding experience before handing over a powerful bike. Ask what it requires.
